Parish Church of San Nicola Vescovo: The parish church, dedicated to San Nicola, while S. Marta is the patron saint of the town, can boast ancient origins, from don Giovanni di Varisella, its rector in 1228. It is also mentioned, together with that of Baratonia, in a document dated 1386 as a dependency of the parish church of Liramo.
It is tradition that this "parish house" rose in another place lower down. The construction of the present church was completed in 1721. The building is in Piedmontese Baroque style, with a main nave and two side chapels. In 1878 the choir was built in the center of which is a valuable painting of the Madonna Enthroned with Saints Nicola and Marta, executed in 1884 by the painter Giovanni Pesando, a disciple of Reffo.
In 1893 the restoration of the "rustic" and very ruined facade arose. In the two niches at the sides of the entrance door, the statues of the titular saints are placed, while in the upper center, above the trilobed window, there is the wooden statue of the Virgin made by an inhabitant of the village.
In 1876, some years after the collapse of the old bell tower, it was proceeded with the economic reconstruction.
In 1930 the interior was frescoed by the painter Renato Calzolari from Prato.
