The morphology consists of an almost uninterrupted succession of closed basins (dolines) with a flat and fennel-shaped bottom and a diameter going from a few meters to some hundred meters. It is a wide forest with Silver and Spruce Firs alternating with two areas characterized by herbaceous vegetation and by a permanent stretch of water (lama) housing a rich population of amphibians (Alpine Newt, Crested Newt, Green Frogs), and where bird species typical of the wetlands have been observed (Grey Heron and Mallard).
