Various groups of Italian bowmen suggest a cross section of the rural life in the wonderful village of Rossena at the foot of the Castle of Rossena
Saturday 25th June 2005
- At 4.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.: rural life, assault trials, dressing of the soldiers
- At 7.00 p.m.: tour at the sunset in Riserva Naturale Orientata della Rupe di Campotrera.
Dinner with local cuisine.
- At 9.00 p.m.: skill trial of the various groups of bowmen with struggles, duels, and archery. Animation with Bowmen, ladies and gentlemen at the public's disposal.
Animation with songs, music, dances, and medieval tales
Sunday 26th June 2005
- At 9.00 a.m.: visit to Riserva Naturale Orientata della Rupe di Campotrera
- At 9.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.: archery competition with medieval costumes.
Lunch with local cuisine.
- At 5.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m.: assault to the fortress, run-ups to the castle, breach of the walls.
Fried gnocco for everyone.
Opening of the Castle of Rossena with guided visits. Stand with typical products, demonstrations of local craftsmanship, medieval stands and sale of books regarding the territory.
