In the ligure emiliano Appennine at an altitude of 1,330 meters on the western slope of the Monte Aiona, the presence of all exceptional of small lakes of glacial origin have determined the birth of a Natural Reserve "orientata" that include: The Agoraie, in which are present four perennial small lakes of rare beauty and some seasonal, and the Moggetto,or Stagno Lastro, very interesting for the "idiofauna" that find here an ideal habitat. The group of lakes of the Agoraie of Sopra is without doubt the most interesting; among these the typical lake degli Abeti, that is given its name by the presence of numerous fossil trunks of Abete Bianco laid down and still visible. |
