According to the data provided by the World Database on Protected Areas, in the United Arab Emirates there are 4 National Parks, one Marine National Park, 8 Nature Reserves, 3 Private Reserves, one Landscape Protected Area, 3 Wildlife Sanctuaries and 3 Bird Sanctuaries, as well as other parks, reserves, and protected areas.
