Protected Areas in Cameroon
Extending for 1200 km from north to south, Camerun is characterized by a variety of mountains, climates, landscapes, animal and vegetal species unique in the continent. It can be considered a "concentrate of Africa" enclosed into a triangle of 475.000 km that the visitor can discover with wonder. The fauna is particularly rich, with 409 different species of mammals, 143 of reptiles, 849 of birds, and 190 of amphibians.
