Les Espaces Protégés au Pakistan
Selon la Base de données mondiale des Espaces Protégés, le Pakistan compte 16 Parcs Nationaux, 94 Réserves Faunistiques, 7 Réserves Privées, 99 Réserves de Chasse et 9 autres Espaces Protégés. L'Agence pour la Protection de l'Environnement du Pakistan est une section du Ministère de l'Environnement chargée de la mise en place de la Loi sur la Tutelle de l'Environnement (1997) du Pays. Cette loi contient des directives pour la protection, la conservation, la récupération et l'amélioration de l'environnement, pour la prévention et le contrôle de la pollution, ainsi que pour la promotion du développement durable. L'Agence fournit tout type d'assistance technique au Ministère de l'Environnement pour l'élaboration des politiques et des programmes environnementaux.
