The Biotope "Pra dell’Albi-Cei” is situated at the upper end of the Arione stream, a right-bank tributary of the Adige river. The protected area is composed of two large, ovalish hollows. Their main axis is oriented in a NNE-SSW direction; they are parallel to each other and to the underlying Lagarina Valley. In the largest and westernmost hollow there are two lakes: Lago di Cei, and a smaller one called Lagabis. The hollow reaches further to that part of the small Cei valley which descends north towards Cimone and Aldeno. In that area, there are two peatlands: one of them is simply known as “Cei valley”, the other one as "Prà del Moro”.
