The site lies on the southernmost strip of the Stivo-Cornetto chain of Mount Bondone. It consists of a calcareous slope facing south on the hill belt, occupied by wide expanses of arid steppe-like meadows intertwined with small forests and hedges. Here and there there are some plots cultivated with traditional products.
