An environment full of water
The small wet ZSC "Torbiera di Sequals" is so called due to the presence of important low alkaline bogs characterized by Schoenus nigricans (common black rush). This type of marsh vegetation is mainly present in soils almost constantly soaked with water. These peat bogs are characterized by the presence of species of remarkable beauty and ecological relevance.
