The site is very representative of the sub-mountain and alpine habitats in good and excellent conservation conditions. It is also an alpine area of high ornithological importance for its specific richness. Noteworthy are the local populations of black salamander (Salamandra atra) and European pine marten (Martes martes). Even the presence of Helix pomatia is confirmed, following its discovery in very close locations.
