The area is located between the first and the second morainic circle of the Tilaventina glacier and consists of two sites already known for their naturalistic value: the biotope of Fagagna wet meadows and the oasis of Fagagna’s Quadris which are connected through Lini River, a small intermorainic waterway. The ZSC covers an area of 62 hectares inside the Municipality of Fagagna, at an average altitude of about 170 meters above sea level.
