Following the coast, from San Giovanni di Sinis towards the north, you reach the tourist settlement of Funtana Meiga. The central part of the Sinis peninsula is almost desertic, if we exclude a small plateau with some vegetation in the middle, called Su Pranu.
In the desert of Sinis there are some oases, the main of which is Oasi di Seu. You cross it to reach Maimoni beach, where the sand starts to give way to the quartz grains that will become abundant in Is Arutas.
