The silhouette delimiting the Marine Protected Area Penisola del Sinis - Isola di Mal di Ventre towards the hinterland is characterized by a coast with precious and, in some cases, unique environmental situations and landscapes. In the lower stretches of the coast there are beaches of rare beauty made of sand and quartz fragments; in the upper parts, imposing cliffs overhanging the sea work as viewpoints towards the opposite Island of Mal di Ventre, in the North, and the Scoglio del Catalano, in the South. This stretch of Sardegna is unique for the extraordinary sensation of continuity between earth and sea it provides.
