From Cabras, always following the road signs to Tharros, take the SP road 6 and, after 8 km, you will find the detour on the right to San Salvatore, we will reach after a few kilometers.
San Salvatore religious village has been used as a setting for many spaghetti westerns shot in the mid-1960s, and was subsequently renovated in 1990. In the village, you will find the small church dedicated to Christ the Saviour, commemorating the tradition according to which the Saint was saved from the invaders coming from the sea by the inhabitants of Cabras who concealed him in a locality that will be later called San Salvatore.
