From San Salvatore, taking SP road 7, you will reach San Giovanni di Sinis. The town has been named after the church dedicated to the Saint. The church, situated on the eastern edge of the village, is an imposing building made with blocks of sandstone. The primitive church of San Giovanni Battista was built around the 6th century with a Greek cross plan and a central dome-shaped nucleus, while the central body was added between the 9th and the 11th century.
