This biotope is a basin on the Dossone di Cembra which underwent glacial erosion and abrasion. The biotope is home to damp and marshy grasses and hosts, in the very centre, a pool which was formerly a small lake. The vegetation includes some species which are typical of the transitional peat-mosses.
