Situated on the summit of Mt. Sant'Angelo (227 m), where Ausoni Mountains face the sea, it includes monuments of various nature among which "Piccolo Tempio" (Small Temple), whose origins are not known, and "Tempio di Giove" (the Temple of Jupiter), which was built in the Roman Age (4th century BC) together with the walls and the Acropolis.
