You can reach Tonale Pass by car or by public means of transport by following SS road no. 42, both from Valcamonica (Lombardy) and from Val di Sole and Val Vermiglio (Trentino). The itinerary leaves at about 500m in the west of the Pass, at the junction between the SS road and the road leading to the cableway to Paradiso Pass. If you want to climb with the Chairlift Nigritella and reach Vallazza, you have to reach the station at the first hairpin bend under the Pass, in Lombardy.
