The trail crosses the pinewood generated by an ancient reforestation activity also including Eucalyptus trees. The maritime pine has a columnar bearing, a very dark bark with small plates, the cones open on the tree and remain on it for a long time even when they are dry. Its name indicates that it comes from coastal areas.
