The trail crosses the downy oak wood, an oak representing the most significant species in the Park. The leaves have the characteristic shape of oak leaves and in their lower part are covered by a down that makes them velvety. In the initial stretch of the trail there are plants of small size together with plants characterizing the Mediterranean maquis, like the mastic tree, the phillyrea, the Jerusalem thorn, the Common Hawthorn. Entering the forest, you will find even more imposing trees.
The route joins then other trails, among which the trail of the Stream Cervaro at about 780m from its beginning.
