The route joins the main trail, the downy oak trail, and heads for the pasturelands. This area is rich in herbaceous and shrubby plants, among which there is the rare Terebinth, a shrub producing small red fruits. Another very widespread plant is Ferula, which produces in spring a long branched trunk with yellow flowers. The area is also rich in herbaceous plants, many of which are good both as fodder and for men. The pasturelands are mainly characterized by annual plants.
