The Corno is a wide rock slope occupying the Municipality of Cadore's eastern side up to the territory included in the municipality of Tavernola. Its location, its gradient heading towards the lake and its severe appearance make this area the most evident morphological feature in the territory.
This rock coast, characterized by a rugged and rocky morphology, can be reached only through two itineraries situated at two different altitudes. From the upper path it is possible to enjoy a wide view of the final stretch of the Sebino and of the plain. At the foot of Corno a continuous debris blanket colonized by plants links the vertical rock faces to the horizontal waters of the lake, so that they could allow a fruitful olive tree cultivation.
