In the Park there are four large ancient buildings (a monastery dating back to the late 13th century, an ancient mountain elementary school, the mill of a small medieval village, and a former 4th century church), where not only administrative functions, but also environmental education activities, meetings with local associations about the sustainable development of the territory, courses focusing on the various aspects of nature, and tourist welcome services are held. The four "Case del Parco" (Park Houses) organize naturalistic exhibits and sell publications on the protected area, its history, art, and folklore.
