Trail 143 leaves on the left of the former church of S. Maria del Mercato. Walking along the building, you will shortly reach a road widening among the houses. Take a short ramp on the left and then go ahead on the right on the trail climbing the woody slope. After crossing the street leading to the meadows of S. Bartolo, follow the trail for about 300 meters until you reach the junction with trail 141A. On the right, follow a thin ridge you will abandon to go downhill on the right, entering again the woodland. Go ahead on a flat trail and then on a carriage road. After crossing a small clearing on the right, climb to Case Spadini. From here you will reach the road crossing Val Faedo. Follow it to the left. At the second hairpin bend, take on the right a flat carriage road which, after about 300 meters, turns left and gradually leads uphill. After crossing Beicerca Holiday Farm, you will meet another road: follow it to the left going down to Beicerca Alta and from here to the valley bottom, at the junction with trail 141. Follow the trail to the right for about 1 km until you reach the Romanesque-style church of S. Ansuino. From here, take the carriage road on the left for about 400 meters, then at a junction turn right and climb on the opposite slope. You will reach the road in the south of the historical town center of Avacelli.
