Parco naturale regionale Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi

The Fossi lake originated recently because of a landslip which blocked the bed of the small stream. The lake was then reinforced and its shores equipped with tourist facilities. The Fossi lake is situated at an altitude of 300 m, far from the main roads, in a land between the Scappuccia Valley and the pinewood of Mount Predicatore, two areas that are very interesting from the naturalistic point of view, and that can be visited by walking a path.
