The trail mainly develops on cycle facilities and is therefore very busy during the weekends. It gives the opportunity to discover an environment including all the kinds of woodland characterizing the Park. You will start by walking along a big private orchard. Then, as you continue your walk, oaks and Scots pines will replace black locust trees and hazelnut shrubs. Farther on, you will meet common hornbeams and reach a depression with stagnant water, obtained by an ancient quarry of clay surrounded by chestnut trees, goat willows, ferns, and bulrush. In spring, the pond is populated by frogs and other amphibians. At this point, abandon the cycle facility and take a narrow trail.
