In the territory of Solaro, among palaces and houses, one of the last moorlands in the south of the Alps miraculously opens. It has been named after the kings of the Savoia family who were invited here by some noble families from Milan to practice hunting and fishing. The central section of this particular "Nordic" environment houses a great variety of vegetation including the Scotch Heather, whose flower blooms in August, and the rare Marsh Gentian, the only gentian growing in the plain.
