The different environments and species, together with an existing path network, make it possible to create a didactic itinerary that illustrates the main morphological, botanical and silvicultural characteristics of the Groane environment.

The entire project area was divided into three thematic areas, as follows:

• Area for learning: this is the area between the Via Forlanini entrance and the Via Benedetto Croce one, with information boards and 14 small signs mounted on metal supports that describe the different plant species.

• Area for getting to know: this is the area between Via Benedetto Croce and the Garbagnate Milanese quarry.

• Area for exploring: this is the area encompassing the Garbagnate quarry area. This part is dedicated to those who intend to walk a normal, unequipped path, to get to know the other aspects of the Groane world.
