Didactic Tourism
There is a network of documentation centers and subjects dealing with school tourism at the disposal of the local schools, in order to meet any educational planning need. Some of them offer a long tradition of experiences and specific planning for school trips, while others are new or very recent and comply with the most modern environmental education offer criteria. Usually, this network offers one-day educational trips or 2 to 7 days stays in the accommodation structures of Orvietano-Tuderte area.
Unless there is a specific demand, the proposals include:
- guided visits (the tour guides are professionals specialized in naturalistic-environmental and historical-archaeological issues)
- the presence of experts in various fields providing scientific information during the educational trips
- educational material
It is possible to require, in collaboration with the local travel agencies and tour operators, transfer service from and to the main railway stations (Orvieto, Todi, Fabro), as well as room and board service for the school group.
