This is a short and very pleasing trail: it starts in the hamlet of Piano della Pieve and then it winds, slightly uphill, along the brook Marchetto, so that you may enjoy the view over its lovely gorges. In order to get pleasure from the brook's breathtaking canyon, we suggest you to do some rafting; you won't need any particular gear, as there are no risky waterfalls, but anyway we recommend wearing a wet suit and asking for the help of a trained guide, especially for the less skilled rafters. The brook is crossed by two remarkable bridges: the first, Ponte del Marchetto, is a medieval bridge and in the past it was called the Wolves Bridge; the second, Ponte Cavaliero, was built in the 17th century.
