"Quaderno di campo n. 4 - I rapaci diurni" is a reference book on diurnal birds of prey that can be sighted during the tours, in every season, in Murgia.
The publication is dedicated to the description of these fascinating winged creatures. Studied and written for experts and enthusiasts, the handbook summarizes the information of the most significant publications at disposal today. The plateau of the Murge has a population of birds of prey significant from a conservation/scientific point of view and, at the same time, birds of prey represent one of the most sensitive groups to the transformations of the territory, and therefore are excellent indicators of the ongoing changes.
Moreover, the handbook includes an in-depth analysis of the project "Il Parco per il Grillaio", at its 4th year.
