The trail develops on an asphalted road starting from the Ruvo di Puglia train station up to reach the Tratturello Regio. The tube-shaped landscape changes from the urban field to the rural one typical of the arable lands. The arable lands are gradually replaced by the Olive tree and almond tree cultivations. The road and the cultivations are delimited by dry stone walls. The natural plant formations, such as the oak forest in the locality of Vacchericcia and the coppice of Masseria De Leo, situated near the Masseria La Patanella. The trail ends within the oak forest between the Fenicia wood and the Ruvo forest, both crossed by the Tratturello Regio No. 19 Canosa-Ruvo. The trail crosses territories situated outside the borders of the Alta Murgia Park, but it plays the important role of connection between the protected area and the urban center.
