Publication rich in information and images on the natural features of the seven islands of the Tuscan Archipelago
The protagonists of this volume are the seven big islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, also called the "seven sisters": Gorgona, Capraia,
Elba, Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio, and Giannutri.
According to the
legend, some "pearls" fell down from the neck of a careless Venus in
the Tyrrheanian Sea: this is the way the seven wonderful islands were
born. The islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, wonderful and enchanted, are
an archipelago "by chance", solitary islands very different
one from the other.
