Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre

(Sede del Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, 19 Mar 24) On 23 March 2024, to ensure the safety of the Sciacchetrail running race, the municipalities of Riomaggiore, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare have ordered by law the closure of some REL paths in the Cinque Terre National Park to pedestrians:

•  Law of the Monterosso al Mare Municipality
•   Law of the Riomaggiore Municipality
•   Law of the Vernazza Municipality

Here are the details with the closing times:

• Riomaggiore closures from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm:
  SVA path from Colle del Telegrafo to Riomaggiore
  Path no. 531 "La Beccara" from Riomaggiore to Manarola

• Manarola closures from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm:
  Path no. 532 C from Corniolo to Groppo
  Path no. 502 Nativity Scene - Foundation - Junction no. 506 with Path no. 586 from Volastra to Case Pianca

• Monterosso from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm:
  SVA Path no. 592 from Monterosso al mare to Vernazza

• Vernazza from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm:
  SVA path Corniglia - Vernazza - Monterosso
  Path no. 587 Case Pianca Corniglia

On all the other REL paths in the Park affected by the passage of the race (47 km in total), we recommend the utmost caution and to take a look at the route, by referring to the  race road book.
