This trail connects the village of Campiglia to Persico pebbly beach. Hikers arriving from La Spezia will find the starting point in Santa Caterina square, where the trail enters the Park's boundary and meets the AV5T. After a short stretch of paved road the trail turns to the left down the stairway to Tramonti. It descends gently among vineyards, scattered houses and cultivated terraces, and passes by the fields where the cultivation of saffron and myrtle-leaved orange trees is favored by the peculiar environment. The area is also plenty of Indian fig opuntia. Further along the trail, from the place called Chioso, a secondary trail (528V) descends toward the place called Navone.
