Geological-geomorphological itinerary across Buse delle Vette

A brief guidebook of Vette Feltrine with a particular attention to the geological and geomorphological features, in an easy language understandable also for novices to Earth Science.
This important section of Dolomiti Bellunesi represents, for the good exposure of the stratigraphic stages and the evidence of mountain forms, a privileged section for the observation of the geological and geomorphological landscape of the Park. The suggested itinerary develops in a ring-route across a unique series of glacial cirques (locally called "buse") giving to the landscape of Vette a very characteristic aspect. The aims of this brief guidebook are to provide hikers an easy instrument leading them during the observation of the stratigraphic stages and the forms of the landscape and to contribute to the knowledge and cultural enhancement of the geological and geomorphological heritage (geotopes) of the Park.
