Hiking is demanding in terms of length and difference in height, requires mountain experience and must be tackled with suitable equipment and training.
Numerous sections of the path are equipped and require adequate equipment to be tackled safely.
Two mountain groups, two regions, two Parks: different environments in terms of conformation and nature, both world heritage sites, united by the Alta Via no. 2 which from Feltre, through the Vette Feltrine and the Pale di San Martino, reaches the Valles Pass.
An unforgettable hiking through two splendid natural parks, along the wildest stretch of the Alta Via delle Dolomiti no. 2.

Stop no. 1 from Croce d'Aune pass to Dal Piaz refuge
The first stop of this hiking between two Parks corresponds to the uphill itinerary to the Dal Piaz refuge, along a spectacular military road.

Stop no. 2 from Dal Piaz refuge to Boz refuge
This stop is a scenic crossing of the Vette Feltrine, among landscapes shaped by glaciers, through the Integral Reserve of Piazza del Diavolo.

Stop no. 3 from Boz refuge to Cereda pass
The third stop in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park plans to walk the Troi del Caserin: a spectacular path at the base of the Dolomite walls of Sass de Mura, to reach the Feltre - Bodo bivouac, to climb to the Comedon pass and to descend to the Cereda pass, through the steep and very demanding descent of Intaiada.
A variant, to avoid the descent of Intaiada is to descend from the Boz refuge in Val Noana to the Caltena refuge, from here to reach Malga Fossetta and then to descend to the Cereda pass

Stop no. 4 from Cereda pass to Canali - Treviso refuge
In this stop, after leaving the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, you enter the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park through the fork of Oltro, from where you descend to the Treviso refuge.

Stop no. 5 from Treviso refuge to Pradidali refuge
Challenging crossing through the Lede pass, from which, after having ascended the Vallon of the same name, the wonder of the heart of the Pale plateau is revealed.

Stop no. 6 from Pradidali refuge to Rosetta refuge
Spectacular stop with breath-taking views over San Martino di Castrozza and the Primiero Valley, that leads to the western limits of the Pale plateau: a lunar limestone plateau at over 2000 meters a.s.l.

Stop no. 7 from Rosetta refuge to Mulaz refuge
Crossing through the Farangole pass, between the valleys behind Cimon della Pale and Vezzana and aerial views of Pian delle Comelle.

Stop no. 8 from Mulaz refuge to Valles pass
The final stop leads us to the Valles pass, with breath-taking views on the alpine pastures of Rolle pass and the enchaning Val Venegia, to reach the border between Veneto and Trentino.
