In the latest decades, Bagno di Romagna has linked its name to the quality of its waters and their use for thermal treatments. Bagno di Romagna Visitor Center, situated inside Palazzo del Capitano (15th century), mainly deals with the morphology and geology of the territory. Through a collection of pictures and copies of drawings, paintings and relief models, visitors will be given the opportunity to observe the land and its changes over the centuries. Among the many images on display, there are the copies of the paintings realized for a research activity on the mountain territories between Romagna and Tuscany, which was ordered by the grand duke Pietro Leopoldo.
