Mt. Falterona, the symbol of the National Park, with its geological and morphological features, has remarkably influenced the life of the small communities which settled on its slopes during the different historical periods. Since prehistoric times, the story of this "sacred" mountain, where river Arno springs, and its historical routes are the characterizing theme of this Visitor Center under construction in the small town of Castagno d'Andrea.
