The Felidae family is, among the current Fissiped Carnivores, the one and only family whose species are, ecologically, obliged carnivores. They live on the Vertebrates they hunt, catch, and kill almost exclusively during ambush hunting. Only for the few species with a size smaller that the domestic cat, the Invertebrates can represent significant food, although not for their long-term needs.
