Hamlets and Villages

The Park, located in the heart of the Apennines, straddling the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga mountain ranges, extends over the territory of three regions: Abruzzo, Lazio and Marche, comprising in its perimeter territories of five provinces: L'Aquila, Teramo, Pescara, Rieti and Ascoli Piceno.
The 44 Municipalities, and their innumerable hamlets, so embedded and unspoiled in nature with their architectural and cultural particularities, represent the fundamental stages of an unforgettable journey.
