Environmental Education in the Majella National Park

Even this year the Majella National Park offers the schools of any grade a rich program of initiatives including environmental education trails consisting of one or more meetings and outings, didactic workshops, hikes, guided visits, educational stays and summer camps. The goal is to make children and young people aware of the Park's natural and cultural heritage acknowledge.The Park, a candidate to become a UNESCO World Geopark, also proposes activities aimed at promoting the knowledge of its territory from a geological point of view. Besides the educational activities described as follows, it is also possible to ask the Environmental Education Centers and the other Park structures for customized didactic trails and for teachers' advices in order to plan the didactic offer by including goals and actions regarding the themes of environment and sustainability.
