Historical itinerary crossing one of the less known, but not less fascinating sections of the Park

Leaving from Sulmona, cross Cansano, Campo di Giove, Palena, Gamberale, and Pietransieri, following easy mule tracks or dirt roads. The itinerary, to divide into laps or to follow only in part, gives also the opportunity to discover sites of great environmental interest like Piano Cerreto, where the fields are still cultivated according to traditional methods and rhythms and where rare animal and vegetable species still live because linked to this particular environment and the wonderful beech woods of the southern slope of the Park.
