Of particular naturalistic value, the itinerary develops in the beech wood and at its edges near the Red Deer Wildlife Area. The area is also populated by Bears and the oldest beech woods house several species of woodpeckers, including the rare White-backed Woodpecker. Among the several botanic species growing in the area, the blooming of Turk's cap lily is particularly rich in June - July. Along the way, you will find picnic areas, car parks, and panoramic points. An observation point is accessible for people with disabilities and for the visually impaired.
