The Way in this stage goes up the entire valley of the Orfento river up to Ponte della Pietra (975 m), passes through the hermitage of S. Onofrio and ends in the village of Decontra (810 m - refreshment and accommodation).

The stage touches the following sections of the Park paths:

• S From Ponte di Caramanico to Ponte San Benedetto
• B2 From Ponte San Benedetto to Ponte della Pietra
• S From Ponte della Pietra to the crossroads for B8 (passing through the hermitage of S. Onofrio)
• B8 From the valley floor to Decontra
