An important area with a high naturalistic value
The Parco Piazzo is situated in the lower Seriana Valley, between the territories of Albino and Nembro, at the foot of the Monte Cereto. The landscape of the Park, extending over about 75 hectares in this area, comprises the Municipality of Albino only and, starting from an altitude of 300 meters, it is constituted by a wide belt of green plateaus which extend up to an altitude of 500 meters in the slope that leads to the municipality of Nembro. The eastern areas of Piazzo border the strongly urbanized territories of the Municipality of Albino. Piazzo represents an area of high naturalistic value and, despite its anthropized nature, it can be considered as a very relaxing place far from the valley bottom but also easy to be reached by the local residents thanks to comfortable ways connecting to the built-up areas of both Albino and Nembro.
