The submerged world of Porto Venere Marine Protected Area is characterized by a great variety of organisms, to the extent that divers visiting the seabed are enthusiasts and fascinated by it. Gorgonians, rocks characterized by the lively colors of the colonizing sponges, walls rich in Yellow Cluster Anemone (Parazoanthus axinellae), fish dancing undisturbed, lobsters, moray eels, and congers coming out from their dens, and the rich and unpredictable world of the Posidonia oceanica meadows create an extraordinarily beautiful underwater world.
