The Parco San Tomaso covers the lower offshoots of the ridge composed by the Corno Birone (1,116 m), Mount Rai (1,250 m), Mount Prà Santo (1,245 m) and the Colma di Val Ravella (939 m). The Park offers a wonderful landscape very near the built-up area of Valmadrera. In spring the blooming almond trees are really fascinating. The whole rural complex is under renovation, and today it serves as a rest area for tourists and as an area for agricultural and zootechnical activities. It is also possible to visit the Museum of Agriculture and the small St. Thomas' Church. From the rural center several paths branch offering the opportunity to admire the surrounding woods, the glacial erratics, the "Taja Sass", the so-called "cassotte" and "caselli" where until 1950s and 1960s milk was processed.
