Casolare 311 is a farmstead built in the 1950s in the countryside of Formello, in the geographical heart of Veio Park, which has opened its doors to share and reinterpret the heritage of the rural culture. It houses a Museum preserving tools used by farmers and draught animals (recognized by Regione Lazio and by the Province of Rome) and breeds farm animals. It is also an Info Point of Veio Park: therefore, a visit to the Museum is also an occasion to discover a territory rich in historical and naturalistic beauties. Without obligation for the visit, teachers can freely borrow the didactic tale "Maremmino ovvero Le stagioni in campagna": inspired to the calendars of the months, it deals with the seasonal agricultural activities and popular culture, and is particularly recommended for children between the 8 and 12 years of age.
